Description
This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that was produced in March 1970 and is finished in Willow Green over a Suede Green interior. Power comes from a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, and equipment includes a black soft top, dual Stromberg carburetors, and chrome wire wheels. A top-end rebuild and overhauls of the carburetors were conducted under prior ownership, while the servicing of the fuel, cooling, and suspension systems were conducted in preparation for the sale. Award recognition includes multiple JCNA best-in-class awards. This Series II XKE roadster was purchased by the current owner in 2019 and is now offered at online auction on BringATrailer in Canada with records dating from the 1980s, manuals, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, and British Columbia registration.
