This European Spec Italian delivery 1971 Ferrari Dino 246GT was delivered new in September 1971. Restoration work was completed in 2011 in Victoria, BC by Rudi & Co and Coachwerks. This Ferrari Dino has been in British Columbia for the last 40 years and is just now being offered for sale to the public for the first time. Finished in Rosso Corsa paint with Black vinyl bucket seat interior the entire car presents extremely well. Expertly painted by Coachwerks the paint still shows extremely well without flaws and with smooth brilliant luster. Chrome brighwork around the entire car shows equally well. The black interior is in excellent condition without and tears or rips. The original spec “mouse fur” dashboard has been replaced durring earlier restoration and still shows like new. Mechanically the 2.4L V6 runs extremely well and is void of any oil leaks or issues. Easy cold starts, smooth acceleration and consistent idles.
This is a perfect Dino to add to any collection and presents extremely well. Great car for showing at local shows, driving to Cars & Coffee or twisting through your local back roads. The Dino’s have experienced continued appreciation over the past 2 decades. With the introduction of the 2023 Ferrari 296GT at local Ferrari dealerships the time is perfect to add the original small mid-engine Ferrari to your colleciton.
