This 2001 Ferrari 550 Maranello with 6-speed gated manual transmission is a Canadian delivery car. Sold new at Brian Jessel Ferrari of Vancouver, BC this striking 550 Maranello has never been registered anywhere but BC. Finished in Pozzi Blue over a Blu Scuro & Black Connolly leather interior. Completely original paint and interior this car also has no “sticky” buttons common on older classic Ferraris. Still Ferrari fresh with the smell of Italian leather as it did when it was new this car has travelled just 22,500 kilometres since new. Upon arrival into inventory we sent the car to Ferrari Maserati of Vancouver for a full inspection. Subsequently a major service was performed that included many items above and beyond the normal scope of a service. We wanted to make sure that this car was absolutely perfect in its condition mechanically and any preventative items be serviced and replaced.
The Ferrari 550 was the return of front engine V12 configuration for the Italian car manufacturer. 5.5 litres of displacement produces 478 hp and 419 ft lb of torque. Coupled to a 6-speed gated manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Double wishbone suspension located at all four corners with coaxial coil sprung dampers.
