2001 Porsche 911 Turbo (996)

This beautifully kept, no claims 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo with dealer installed X73 has  arrived.  Just certified at Porsche and thoroughly reconditioned by our in house detail department.  The 996 generation 911’s have seen gaining values and attention in recent years with certain options and models having special interest. The 996 model replaced the outgoing air cooled 993 generation Porsche 911. This new model was the first 911 to receive a water cooled flat six engine helping to produce 420 bhp.

This Porsche 911 Turbo has evidently been owned by sports car enthusiasts since its birth.  The black smooth leather interior shows very well without typical bolster wear.  The carpets, door panels, rear seats, dash, buttons and headliner all show as if still new. The last owner spent approx $3,000 with local audio shop upgrading the dated infotainment head unit to a new touchscreen bluetooth unit. The original equipment was saved so that it can be returned to OEM status.

The paint on all metal panels has been metered/measured and all indicate original manufacturers paint. Headlights on older Porsche 911’s are always something to pay attention to, this cars headlights and even hood show no chips or abrasions.

Mechanically our 996 Turbo has been thoroughly inspected by 2 different service centres without concern or repairs. There are 3 different PPI’s available with it’s records showing the integrity of the car.  In 2010 the X73 package was installed by a Porsche Service Centre. The 48,000km service was completed at the end of 2016. The car was serviced by Porsche Victoria in March/18 at 55,152kms where the spark plugs were replaced at the same time.

This is an extremely well preserved and equipped Porsche 911 Turbo from the 996 generation with  X73 and some key modern upgrades.  The value and performance delivered by this car are almost unmatched for a car that seems to be going nowhere but up.
