This 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder (987.720) is believed to be one of just 891 units built for the North American market. Worldwide there are fewer than 2,000 of these beautiful Spyders. This particular car was sold new on May 29, 2010 through a Porsche dealership in Utah to its first owner, who kept it for just over a year, selling to the second and most recent owner here in Canada in November of 2011. It shows just 5,461 original miles and looks like it just left the Porsche showroom. These Boxster Spyders had a base price of $61,200 USD, and this one left the factory with a final price tag of $78,370 USD plus PDI and delivery. The additional chosen by the first owner were highly customized, making this an exceptional example and a potential “young classic”. It was optioned with a stunning Natural Red Leather Interior ($3,895), Heated Front Seats ($510), Sound Package Plus ($700), Automatic Climate Control ($1,760), Cup Holder (Included), Sport Chrono Package Plus ($960), Floot Mats (Included), Carrera White (Included), Fabric Door Loop (Included), PCM with Navigation Module ($3,110), Bi-Xenon Lights with Dynamic Corner System ($1,560), Sports Seats in Leather (Included), Manual Two Panel Roof (Included), Soft Top in Black (Included), Instrument Dials in Guards Red ($690), Sports Exhaust System ($2,500), and Roll Bar Painted in Exterior Color ($535). This is a total of $17,170 in additional options, all of which are incredibly desirable in a sporty two seater open roadster. You would be hard pressed to find another with lower mileage, or the right options. The manual transmission cars were ordered in fewer numbers than the PDK variants and came with a much more classic (better looking) steering wheel and console. This Boxster Spyder ticks every box, in our humble opinion, and is completely up-to-date with service at our local Porsche dealership. It has zero claims or estimates, no accidents, no window replacement, never smoked in, never driven hard. The past owner was a local collector who admired the car for its reference to the early open roadsters of the 1950s (550 Spyder, RSK60 etc). If we were to be incredibly hard on the car, we could point out one small rock chip on the lower valance of the front bumper and a scuff on one of the red hoops where the soft to attaches. It is otherwise immaculate and appears to be completely original paint. Please call us to schedule a viewing or to make an offer. We are preparing to run this car on the Bring-a-Trailer online auction site.
