Description
This highly original Mercedes-Benz W113 280SL Pagoda comes to us after spending it’s 52 years in Victoria, BC. The car is presented in its factory colours and retains its original red leather interior. We acquired this car from it’s original owner, Bob Wright, of the Oak Bay Marine Group here in Victoria, BC. Mr.Wright purchased the car brand new from the authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer Three Point Motors and it remained in his ownership till 2020. Silver Arrow Cars Ltd took ownership and proceeded to commission a no expense spared restoration with renowned Coachwerks.
During restoration this 280SL was disassembled including glass, doors, hood & interior in preparation for a bare metal repaint in 040 Black. The engine was inspected and mechanical refurbishment performed including engine compartment aesthetics.
Finding a 280SL in such condition is difficult, finding a 4-speed 280SL in such condition even more difficult. To find a 280SL 4-speed coming from 51 years of local ownership is a unicorn.
