This 2006 Ford GT is one of 343 Heritage Edition examples produced and was first registered in Alberta, Canada, reportedly remaining with its original owner before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2020. The car is finished in Heritage Blue and Epic Orange over black leather, and power comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes forged BBS wheels, gray brake calipers, air conditioning, and KW coilover suspension. A new fuel tank sensor module and rear clamshell struts were installed in 2020 along with an oil change and fluid flushes. This Heritage Edition GT shows 9k miles and is offered in Canada at no reserve with recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and British Columbia registration.
The Camilo Pardo-designed GT took inspiration from the GT40 race cars of the 1960s and featured an extruded aluminum space frame, roll-bonded floors, and aluminum body panels that were shaped using a superplastic forming process. The Heritage Package was a $13k option that included Gulf-inspired blue and orange livery similar to that worn by the 1968 and 1969 Le Mans-winning GT40s.
