2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R

Impeccable GT350R. 1 Owner No accidents or claims, just serviced and inspected at Ford SVT Service Center. This was one of the first Shelby GT350R’s delivered in western Canada. Purchased cash and driven occasionally by a mature owner this Shelby still smells, looks and feels like new. These R Pack cars have sold at a premium since they were first delivered and still command a premium dollar.

Ford outdid themselves and Chevrolet with the release of the GT350 combined with the R Package or GT350R. The R sheds nearly 130lbs from the normal GT350 in a number of ways but perhaps the most substantial is the Carbon Fibre wheels. Yes, Carbon Fibre is normally present in performance car interiors – but Ford knew that lightening each wheels rotational weight would be massive dividends in performance. To replace the GT350R Carbon’ wheels one would pay nearly $4,000 per corner!

With a naturally aspirated flat plane crank 5.2L V8 making 526hp up high next to a 8,250rpm redline, their new ‘Voodoo’ motor resembles engineering more commonly coming from Italy as opposed to Detroit.

As if to drop out of a driving enthusiasts dream, ford used the pinnacle formula for a driver’s car. Naturally Aspirated, high horsepower, high revving manual transmission V8 with everything that makes the car better performing, and everything else left on shelves at the factory.
