The 2017 Mercedes-Benz G550 4×42 (G-Squared) is the ULTIMATE SUV.  This pristine example was purchased new on Vancouver Island, BC and has remained in BC since. AMG Carbon Fibre trim was added ordered when new as well as designo Roof in Obsidian Black and special paint. The name of the Mercedes-Benz special paint is High-Gloss Electric Beam, and rightly so.

Mercedes’ built the G-Squared as a tribute to the outgoing version of their iconic G-Glass SUV that has existed since 1979. They built this truck as a limited edition AMG SUV that employs portal gear axels for improved ground clearance and wider stance. Mercedes also fitted this beefed up G-Glass with a wider stance, larger wheels/tires and a completely upgraded suspension.

Driving these large AMG G-Wagons is actually much improved compared to their shorter G63 siblings. The ride is quite smooth and compliant providing a enjoyable ride in a truck with such an aggressive stance.
