Founded by Tim Quocksister in 2001, Silver Arrow Cars specializes in investment-grade collectible cars of the highest caliber. Our team takes immense pride in our expertise, boasting over 70 years of combined experience in meticulously curating a thoughtfully selected range of exceptional cars. Our dedicated specialists excel in procuring and offering the world’s most exquisite Mercedes-Benz 300SLs, but our passion doesn’t end there. We are highly regarded for our knowledge and discerning eye when it comes to sought-after Ferraris, classic air-cooled Porsches, and rare supercars. Our company name was inspired by the nickname “Silver Arrow” given to Mercedes-Benz race cars, starting with the W25 in 1934 when the team scraped off the white paint to save 1kg of weight to meet the 750kg limit for that particular event. The exposed bare aluminum gave rise to the nickname “Silver Arrows” for Mercedes-Benz race cars and it is still their team color today.

Tim Quocksister
President & Founder
Tim’s passion for cars started early, buying and selling more vehicles as a teen than most own in a lifetime. He began his career at Three Point Motors in Victoria, BC, becoming General Sales Manager before founding Silver Arrow Performance Cars in 2001. He now travels globally sourcing rare luxury cars. Tim lives in Victoria and Phoenix with his wife and two sons, staying active in both communities.

Joel Friesen
Director of Sales
Joel has spent his career in sales and customer relations. A lifelong car enthusiast, he restored his first classic car at 15. After 17 years in hospitality and running his own business, he joined Silver Arrow in 2016. His experience helps him guide clients through buying and selling investment-grade collector cars.

Robert Dening
Specialist,
Classics DivisionRobert started Silver Arrow’s Classic Division in 2013 after sourcing and selling 300SLs and other collector cars for a Victoria-based restorer. His expertise now spans a wide range of classics, and he oversees research, documentation, and marketing of key inventory. A seasoned traveler and photographer, he earned a BA in Art History from the University of Victoria in 2007 and continued post-graduate studies until 2011.

With over 20 years in bookkeeping and accounting, Anna has managed financials for both large and small dealerships. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and camping.

Rex’s passion for luxury cars started with his father’s collection. With over 20 years in automotive detailing, he specializes in using the right products and tools for precision work. Outside the shop, he enjoys time with his family.

Chris grew up in the auto industry, developing a passion for cars early on. He has worked in various roles, including as an auto technician, gaining broad industry knowledge.

Transport & Logistics
Scott has worked in luxury and exotic cars for over 25 years, holding roles from Detailer to Sales Manager at brands like Ferrari, McLaren, and Mercedes-Benz. Since joining Silver Arrow in 2019, he has managed cross-border logistics, client services, and event participation. He enjoys road trips and time outdoors with his Blue Heeler.

Photographer
Brit started photography young and, after working as a drafter, made it her career. A professional photographer for over 10 years, she has been with Silver Arrow for more than 3. Her background in architectural and portrait photography shapes her approach to inventory. Outside of work, she enjoys trail running with her dog, playing music, traveling, and visiting family in the Kootenays.
