The color scheme is truly near perfect. The Silver paint is perfectly accented by classic Ferrari Couio leather interior, which still maintains that Italian leather aroma. Full Electric Seats with Heating provides adaptable comfort for both driver and passenger. These seats have a “GT” car feel with ample room for all types. The original owner upgraded and kept the OEM media unit and had Ferrari Vancouver replace it with a Ferrari branded modern unit with backup camera. Parking sensors front and rear give “backup” to the reverse camera.
This was a first for Ferrari – mounting a V8 to the front of the car! Ferrari used the 4.3L V8 previously found in the famous F430 although boosted power to 453hp and 357ftlb. The exhaust note is near Ferrari perfect when at both lower rpm and winding out to the 7900 rpm redline. All of this power was mated to Ferraris first 7-speed Dual Clutch transmission that finally delivered split second up and down shifts. The California has steering column mounted shift paddles that are easily reachable from the sport steering wheel. You will find the Manettino which switches drive modes from Wet to Sport to CST off on the wheels right and the Start button on the left.
