Introduced for the 2013 model year, the SLS AMG GT brought sharper dynamic tuning to the already formidable SLS platform, with revised suspension calibration, enhanced transmission software, and increased output from AMG’s hand-assembled 6.2-litre M159 V-8. In GT specification, the naturally aspirated engine was factory rated at 583 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle and limited-slip differential.
