Start driving the Boxster and its evident the soul purpose is driver enjoyment. From the shift action and pedal placement, to the alcantara steering wheel and seat position, every detail was scrupulously engineered for driving perfection.
Take the Boxster for a drive and the planted nature, and ease of which it drives is immediately noticeable. Bring it up in the revs and the motor begins to sing as it delivers a linear power curve appropriate for spirited driving, hinting at its motorsport roots. Downshift before a corner and the shifters relationship with the pedal couldn't be more perfect. Heal toeing is a pleasure with the Boxster, leaving one wonder why anyone would opt for the PDK automatic. Come off the brakes and dive into the corner with the precision only a mid engined car can produce.
