The 2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT S was produced by Mercedes' to compete with the Porsche 911 and it does just that. Mercedes' AMG division took their 4.0L twin turbocharged V8 and planted it behind the front axels and tuned it to produce 505hp. This big delivery of power does not go unnoticed as the sport exhaust with electrically controlled baffles comes to life. Driving modes can be switched from comfort to sport or sport +. For those that require full control and maximum performance the drive mode can be switched again by the console mounted dial to Race mode. The centre console is also where you will find the AMG GT S's sport exhaust button, AMG Ride Control Sport Suspension button, COMMAND controls and gear shift.
